Halaqa last week

Halaqa was breath taking last week! There were many excellent stories but the one stood out for me was the story about Zainabs (the daughter of the prophet of Allah) husband. Abu Laabs was traveling on a caravan and the caravan was attack and all their wealth were taking away by Abu Basir. Abu Basir is a Meccan who runs away from Mecca to accept Islam but then because of the treaty of Hudibiyaa the meccans send two guards to bring Abu basir. The prophet agreed and told him to have patience. On the way to mecca Abu basir kills one of the guards and the other guard comes running back to the prophet. Abu basir followed him back to medina and the prophet told him that he cannot break the treaty and protected the guards life. Therefore Abu Basir went and started to roam the desert and kept on building up support of other run away meccans who accepted islam. So back to the main story when Abu Basir looted the caravan everyone told Abu laabs to go and ask for their property back because he is the son in law of the prophet (even though he wasn't Muslim). Abu Laabs came to the prophet and ask for the stolen wealth. The prophet went and spoked to Abu Basir and he gave the wealth to Abu Laabs. Abu laabs went back to the caravan and man I love this part ot the story. He asks the caravan is all your wealth and propertyreturnedd to you they replied yes than Abu labbs says their is none worthy of worship except for Allah and that Muhammad peace be upon him is his last and final messenger. Abu laabs told the people of the caravan that I would've acceptd Islam once I return to the prophet and saw his actions but I didn't want you to say the reason why he accepted Islam was to take your property but now I have returned all your property I am returning to the prophet of Allah.
